Habitat • Giraffes can live in the zoo and Africa. • Giraffes live in a large area that a home range. • Giraffes either live on their own.
What they eat • Giraffes eat leaves when they are grownups. • The grownups reach really high in trees to get leaves. • When they are babies they eat grass.
Movement • Giraffes can run up to 35 miles an hour for exercise. • Pacing is the way giraffes walk. • Giraffes gallop so they can move fast.
Interesting Facts • They have hair on their horns. • They have seven bones in their necks. • It is one of the tallest animals in history. -
