Our logo represents a stylized representation of the Mascot of PFA Bangalore: The Slender Loris. An enigmatic animal and possibly one of the rarest animals that can be found in the scrub jungles around Bangalore. But with the city burgeoning , it is most vulnerable to loss of its habitat and is rarely seen. Also, most unfortunate is the superstitious beliefs that are associated with this animal, people mutilate and harm this animal as part of black magic rituals. The Slender Loris is classified as endangered and is a Schedule-1 animal under the Wildlife Protection Act ( for comparison some of the other animals which are classified as endangered in India are the Asian elephant, Indian one horned rhinoceros, lion-tailed macaque, snow leopard and the tiger)
