Absence NotificationEarly Dismissal • Parents call the Absence Recorder at 963-7601 no later than 9:00 a.m. EVERY DAY that student is absent. • Students with appointments should bring a note from home to the office before first period. Student will be given a pass to meet parent in the office. Parents must sign student out.

Homework • Nightly - Approximately 100 minutes a night (more with a foreign language) • Teachers provide guidelines/expectations at beginning of semester • Encourage (expect) use of Assignment Notebook • Many teachers use SIS K-12 for grades • Due on specified date • In the case of excused absences, students are responsible for asking teachers for assignments missed.

Extracurricular Eligibility • Eligibility includes participation in all extracurricular activities, including sports and clubs • Must be passing all classes to participate • Determined at beginning of each season, weekly thereafter • Student ineligible for 3 consecutive weeks will be removed from the activity
Dress Code • Appropriate student dress helps the school maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning, both during school hours, and also at all school functions. • Inappropriate dress will require the student to change clothes.
Cell Phone Rules • Phones must be turned off on school grounds. (During school hours) • Phones will be confiscated if used during school hours (including texting). • Confiscated items will be returned to a parent or guardian only. • If you need to contact your child during the day, please do so through the office.
