Customer Definition (1 of 2) • Customer Types • Inquirant • Initial contact with Customer • No information on database (usually) • Must verify that Customer does not already exist on database. • Customer is an inquirant before eligibility is established, once eligibility is established customer becomes an applicant • Applicant • Eligibility has been determined
Customer Definition (2 of 2) • Customer Types (Cont.) • Registrant • Customer has been certified and enrolled in one or more titles • Exiter • Customer exited program • No longer receiving training or services but may be receiving supportive or other follow-up services
Initial Customer Contact • Customer Enters Office • Search System for existing Customer • If Customer found on system • Verify details • Modify as needed • If no match • Establish New Customer
