What will you get out of being a member of EWB Brighton? • Starting an EWB branch is challenging, but it is also one of the most interesting and rewarding things you can do while at university: • You will learn a great deal about development work. • You will gain valuable experience of managing a charity. • You will meet and work with the people who run organisations such as REDR, ITDG and other major NGOs. • You can gain experience of PR, fundraising, financial management and many other valuable skills. • You can have a real impact on the lives of people in the developing world. • You will be involved in forming and expanding an exciting and important new charity. • You may have the opportunity to travel overseas and take part in development work directly. • You will meet many like-minded people and have many very enjoyable experiences.
