  2. Summary: Chapter 4 • As he was walking, David saw a beautiful house and heard delightful music coming from it. • Suddenly a boy attacked David and beat him up. • David refused to fight and ran away. • He saw two little boys and a girl playing near a river.

  3. David took a nap and woke up when he heard the boys shouting. • The shed, with the little girl in it, was on fire. • David wet his clothes and entered the shed to rescue her. • He had to carry the little girl out as she had fainted. • The little girl’s father and brothers arrived.

  4. The family invited David to stay as long as he liked. • He experienced unknown things like sleeping in a bed and meals with several courses. • They gave him some of Andrea’s clothes to wear.
