Notable Events • 220 B.C.- The Great Wall began to be built • 214 B.C.- The Great Wall was completed • 213 B.C.- The policy of burning books and burying of scholars started • 210 B.C.- Qin Shi Huang dies and is buried with the Terracotta Army
Contact with Other Cultures • Before the start of the Qin dynasty, the different nations in china were all separate. Once the Qin dynasty was started, there was more unity and organization. • The Chinese domain was extended north to Manchuria and naval expeditions were extended south into modern day North Vietnam and Guangdong.
