Who is Joe Ludwig? Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Born: in Longreach Queensland on the 21stJuly 1959 Lives: in Brisbane with his wife and two daughters Age: 53. What is his career and when did it begin? He works as the minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and Minister Assisting on Queensland Flood Recovery and was elected to that on the 14th of September 2010. He has had a ALP member since 1978, Joe was first elected to the Senate in 1998. and he was re-elected to the Senate in 2004 and 2010. Joe Ludwig
Hon. Joe Ludwig started his career as a Industrial Inspector and Training Consultant. He did that before moving to Queensland Branch of the Australian workers’ Union. After he finished his career as an Industrial Inspector and a Training Coordinator, Senator Ludwig was employed as a Senior Industrial Advocate for the Queensland Branch of The Australian Workers' Union. He was a Barrister and served for over 10 years with the Australian Army Reserve. • Joe has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. • Also after the 2007 election, Senator Ludwig was sworn in as Minister for Human Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate.
