  1. How does eating habit How does eating habit affect health? affect health? There’s a quote doing the round these days that’s become quite popular. It goes, “You are what you eat. So, don’t choose fast, cheap, or fake.” Well, I don’t quite agree with it. I think you shouldn’t restrict yourself from eating anything you want to because that builds an unhealthy association with food, often leading to disordered eating, anorexia, bulimia, orthorexia etc. The key is moderation. Take this approach instead: Listen to your body. Eat that cake, but stop when your stomach tells you that it is full. The goal is to reach that point of oneness with yourself that you stop listening to the Kardashian clan and start following your own voice instead. The goal is to take charge of your health…and that begins with your eating habits. Food is a powerful fuel for your body. Ann Wigmore said, “The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison. “

  2. On that note, here’s how eating habits can affect your health: 1.Recent studies have found that your diet has a direct impact on your mental health. Patients grappling depression or anxiety could actually find a little relief with lifestyle, and mainly dietary changes. 2.When combined with regular physical activity, a balanced diet can help prevent such conditions as cardiovascular disease, type-2 diabetes and obesity. 3.Food is a source of macronutrients in the body, namely: carbohydrates, proteins, and fat. Carbohydrates are the body's main energy source, fats increase vitamin absorption and proteins are vital for growth, maintenance and structural support of muscle tissue. 4.Micronutrients like vitamins and minerals, which are body needs is lesser quantities play equally vital role in the body. Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K, and minerals like iron, calcium, zinc, copper, iodine, manganese and cobalamin play key roles in the body- from growth and temperature regulation to circulation and metabolism to enzyme function in cells. 5.At the same time, too much of good can also be bad. Here’s an example - Eating too much refined sugar (or any at all) can cause someone to be less sharp, and to think more slowly. Because emotional control (not suppression, genuine healthy control) and detachment are neurological abilities, eating unhealthily can make someone more depressed, more likely to have a hard time breaking out of emotional downward spirals and things like that.

  3. 6.There is some scientific research that suggests that higher doses of vitamin A could increase the risk of osteoporosis and hip fracture, particularly in older people. Long-term use of large amounts of vitamin A has also been linked to fatigue, irritability, mental changes, anorexia, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, mild fever, excessive sweating, amongst other side effects. The takeaway here is that eating habits affect your health in a significant way. Therefore, even if not all at once, it is important to change our eating habits little by little to a point where you feel like we are at a state of satisfactory health and happiness. It is in your hands. For more health, wellness and fitness articles visit- healthhunt.in
