  3. Significant Events - NRO • NRO-Public Affairs Coordination Group (PCG) formed • Coordinate NRO representation and its participation in the intergovernmental environment while advising the NRO-EC on actions and strategies

  4. Significant Events – ICANN • Rod Beckstrom selected as new ICANN CEO • ICANN/US DOC Joint Project Agreement ends Sept. 30, 2009 • ICANN/US DOC sign Affirmation of Commitment Agreement • http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-30sep09-en.htm#affirmation

  5. Significant Events – ICANN • Agreement in perpetuity – no end date • ICANN will stay headquarter in US • Reviews still called for but now done by community with USG participation • Reaffirms role of GAC • GAC Chair and ICANN CEO will select members of the review team
