  2. Scott and Ravyn found a basketball net. It is a non-living thing.

  3. Brandon found a piece of paper.It is a non-living thing.

  4. Nicole and Aswesh found leaves. These leaves are non-living things because they have fallen off their trees.

  5. Brandon, Amna and Scott found part of a sponge ball.It is a non-living thing.

  6. Evelyn and Heike found grass. Grass is a living thing

  7. Other things we found on our walk are salt and rocks. Both salt and rocks are non-living things.

  8. We found lots of garbage in our yard. Garbage is non-living and hurts our environment.

  9. We learned that leaves on a tree are living things. We learned that leaves on the ground are non-living things.

  10. We found many different living and non-living things in our school yard.
