  3. An Online Student Loan Application which is a web-based Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) product. The program resides on a GHEAC server. Borrowers access the online MPN from a link on their school’s website. The online MPN interfaces with GHEAC’s mainframe database in real time. What is FASTLoans™? 2003 GHEAC Annual Conference

  5. Active MPN Search: The borrower’s SSN and Date of Birth (DOB) are used to conduct a real-time search to determine if an active MPN exits on the GHEAC database. Features of the Online MPN 2003 GHEAC Annual Conference

  6. Suggested Lender Logic: The borrower’s SSN, school code and other data are used to conduct a real-time search to suggest a lender from a school certification or previous loans on the GHEAC database. Features of the Online MPN 2003 GHEAC Annual Conference

Use of the FASTLoans™ online MPN requires a computer and printer with the following software: Internet browser: Internet Explorer 4.00 or higher Or Netscape Navigator 4.00 or higher The browser must be configured with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
