1. The Heroes By: Jordan Zarzour ~Period 7~

3. Iron Man • Iron Man aka Tony Stark is a billionaire genius who makes elaborate and complex weaponry. • He is very self-centered and arrogant. • His father died but left the family business to him. • He has an assistant named Pepper Potts who is basically in charge of company. • After being abducted he created an iron suit equipped with weapons to escape. • Once back home he perfected this suit and decided it could better the world. • He began fighting major crimes and was a hero.

4. The Hero Cycle • This character in the movie, "The Avengers" is charged with a quest to save the Earth from being destroyed. (Along with many other superhumans) • This character is tested along the way of finishing this task by not getting along with his fellow comrades. • A mythical creature that was a tremendous help to Iron Man in completing the task of saving Earth was The Hulk. • The Hulk is a man who, when angry, turns into an enormous and incredibly strong green man.

6. The Hero Cycle • In the last attempt to save Earth, Iron Man makes a selfless act in potentially sacrificing himself by going out into the atmosphere without proper gear to survive. • Iron Man's ultimate low point was when Loki (the villain) had him and the rest of the superhumans defeated. But that didn't last very long. • Iron Man remembered the one thing Loki didn't know about and that was his wrist shield. This shield prevented Iron Man from experiencing Loki's attacks. • With this wrist shield Iron Man was able to resurrect and give his comrades hope. • Hope was what helped the Avengers in defeating Loki and saving planet Earth.

7. What was learned • We learned that Iron Man aka Tony Stark can step up to the plate when people rely on him. • He really proves to people that he has more than money and arrogance to him. • What can be taken away from this that there is more to people than what we can see. • You'll never know a person truly until danger arises.
