PPIS Sustainable Michigan Hospital InitiativeGrant No. NP-00E291-02 The purpose of Sustainable Michigan Hospital Initiative is to assist Michigan Hospitals in adopting enhanced Pollution Prevention (P2) technologies and practices that will reduce pollution, toxic chemicals, and public health hazards, conserve water and promote energy conservation and renewable energy projects.

PPIS Sustainable Michigan Hospital InitiativeGrant No. NP-00E291-02 Grant funds are being used to: • Support the Michigan Green Healthcare Committee - A Partnership with Michigan Hospitals and the Michigan Health and Hospital Association (MHA) • Develop Specific P2 Trainings for Michigan Hospitals • Administer the DEQ Community P2 – Healthcare Grants Program. • Implement P2 Projects at Hospitals.
