This course focuses on discipling new members, teaching them the importance of a daily relationship with Christ, closer communion with God, and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in their lives. It also covers Bible-based principles of living, the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and the role of mentoring in nurturing new believers. The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively witness to others and cultivate a strong fellowship within the church.

ASSIMILATION New members may join our church, but unless they are cared for, fed, and nurtured, they will not stay in the church.
MENTORING Definition: Mentoring means training new members to let their light shine, so that they become salt on earth to others who do not know the love of Jesus.
New Believers Must: • Be drawn into God’s family • Be trained to reach out to the family of man “When souls are converted, set them to work at once.” Evangelism p. 355

WHAT MENTORS DO Accept newer members into the church family Encourage new believers; anytime, anywhere Provide friendship and spiritual bonding Teach by example Listen to questions Offer Bible-based solutions Provide positive help in times of need Share from personal testimony Point new believers to Christ Prepare new believers for active service for the Lord Explain SDA church structure
