Purpose • Brand new qualification • This qualification is aimed at Aviation Ground Security Officers and/or Aviation Ground Security Supervisors. • Initiated from a request from industry • Employers involved in the development • Operational Start Date: 1st June 2011 • Future: Possibility of it becoming an Apprenticeship and a Level 3 progression route
