Editor-in-Chief: • Runs meetings and sets agendas • Compiles attendance • Coordinates with other editors/e-board members to ensure everything is running smoothly • Manages the production of the final publication • Goes above and beyond. Yes, extra hours…
Art and Written Submissions Editor: • In charge of organizing incoming submissions • Must make a power point/presentation of submissions every week for voting • In charge of keeping a master list of yes/no • Helps to put the publication together in March-April-May
Design Director: • In charge of keeping the publication varied and exciting • Responsible for creating the “look” of the new publication – will edit the InDesign template • Will facilitate the decision of a possible theme • Helps put the publication together in March-April-May
Copy Editor: • This person must be meticulous • This person will scour every piece for typos and editing errors throughout the year and during publication • Helps put the publication together in March-April-May
Publicity Director: • In charge of getting signs up in the hallways • In charge of social media • In charge of announcements to South news • Finds credible review sources to submit our magazine to • Coordinates with Print Xpress to order the magazine • Assists editors in the publication process in March-April-May
