Earth Charter Radio Campaign Manual On October 24th, the Earth Charter youth network celebrates UN Day and International Day of Climate Action with its new Radio Campaign, be part of this wave for sustainability! • WHAT IS THE EARTH CHARTER RADIO CAMPAIGN ABOUT? • The Campaign, organized by the Earth Charter Youth Leadership Team, consists of four radio spots introducing the Earth Charter and its principles, to be broadcasted in numerous languages all around the world and to be accompanied by four days of action. Each of these four days will focus on one of the four pillars of the Earth Charter: respect and care for the community of life; ecological integrity; social and economic justice; nonviolence, democracy and peace. All the diverse ideas that will arise from the days of action will be gathered on a Wikispages, http://ecyg.wikispaces.com/radio , thus promoting the exchange of experiences and best practices. www.earthcharterinaction.org
HOW TO GET INVOLVED?ON THE FIELD... ACTION DAYS This campaign aims at promoting the integrated approach of sustainable development suggested by the 4 pillars of the Earth Charter and at catalyzing related projects from diverse places in the world on a same wikipage, thus allowing participants to share their stories and innovative actions toward sustainable development.
