Timeline Day 1 • 6 am – Wake up • 6:30 am – Taxi to Breakfast • 7 am – Breakfast at Squat and Gobble • 8 am – Take shuttle to airport • 9:55 am – Plane leaves San Jose Airport • 11:17 am – Plane arrives San Diego Airport • 12 pm – Take taxi to hotel • 12:30 pm – Drop off luggage • 1 pm – Lunch at Grubbin’ • 2 pm – Take taxi to Gaslamp Quarter • 2:30 – 5 pm – Walk around Gaslamp Quarter • 5 pm – Dinner at Tomato Brothers • 7 pm – Take taxi to hotel • 7:30 pm – Check in to hotel • 8 pm – Unpack and relax • 9 pm – Lights out
Day 1 • Today we traveled to San Diego • We flew on American Eagle Flight 3143 • We ate breakfast at Squat & Gobble • We ate lunch at Grubbin’
Day 1 Continued • While we are in San Diego we stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel San Diego – La Jolla • After checking in to the hotel we went and walked around the Gaslamp Quarter • We ate dinner at Tomato Brothers • After dinner we went back to the hotel to sleep
Timeline Day 2 • 7 am – Wake up • 7:30 am – Taxi to The Chopping Block • 8 am – Breakfast at The Chopping Block • 9 am – Take taxi to SeaWorld • 9:30 am – Enter SeaWorld • 1 pm – Lunch at Billy Bob’s Roadkill Café • 4:30 pm – Dinner at Meal Time • 6 pm – Buy souvenirs at SeaWorld • 6:30 pm – Take taxi back to hotel • 7 pm – Relax at hotel • 9 pm – Lights out
Day 2 • Our first day in San Diego, we decided to go to SeaWorld • We had breakfast at The Chopping Block then headed over to SeaWorld • We had lunch at Billy Bob’s Roadkill Café
Day 2 Continue • While at SeaWorld we saw Dolphin Discovery, Wild Artic, Deep Deep Trouble, Cirque de la Mer, rode the Shipwreck Rapids, and the Shamu Adventure • We ate dinner at Meal Time and Shamu swam up to say “Hi” – it was awesome • We bought the kids some souvenirs when we left
Timeline Day 3 • 8 am – Wake Up • 8:30 am – Taxi to Grubbin’ • 9 am – Breakfast at Grubbin’ • 9:30 am – Take taxi to Legoland • 10 am – Legoland • 1 pm – Lunch at Tomato Brothers • 5:30 pm – Buy souvenirs • 6 pm – Take taxi to dinner • 7 pm – Dinner at Billy Bob’s Roadkill Café • 9 pm – Take taxi back to hotel • 9:30 pm – Lights out
Day 3 • Today we went to LEGOLAND in Carlsbad. • We woke up at 8 am, got dressed and went for breakfast at Grubbin’. • After breakfast we took a taxi to Legoland in Carlsbad. The boys did not know we were going and were so excited when we got there.
Day 3 continued • We went and did many things while at LEGOLAND. Here is a list of a few of them: • Safari Trek • The Dragon • Fun Town Fire Academy • Skipper School • Coastersaurus • Miniland New York City • Miniland Washington D.C. • Miniland San Francisco • AQUAZONE Wave Racers • LEGO Mindstorms
Day 3 continued • When we were leaving LEGOLAND we bought the boys each a toy. Jack wanted the Millennium Falcon and Mark wanted the Castle of Morcia. • We took a taxi to dinner at Billy Bob’s Roadkill Café • After dinner we went back to the hotel for lights out.
Timeline Day 4 • 7 am – Wake up • 7:30 am – Taxi to Slop – N – Flop • 8 am – Breakfast at Slop – N – Flop • 9 am – Taxi to Disneyland • 9:30 am – Disneyland • 12:30 pm – Lunch at Chopping Block • 1:30 pm – More Disneyland • 5 pm – Dinner at Squat & Gobble • 7:30 pm – Buy souvenirs • 8:30 pm – Walk back to hotel • 9 pm – Relax in hotel room • 9:30 pm – Lights out
Day 4 • We woke up early because we were excited to be going to Disneyland. • We quickly ate breakfast at Slop – N – Flop and were ready to leave by 9 am. • We took a taxi over to Disneyland and bought tickets.
Day 4 Continued • We rode a bunch of rides in the morning. Here is a list of them: • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad • Indiana Jones Adventure • Matterhorn Bobsleds • Alice in Wonderland • Splash Mountain
Day 4 Continued • As we were walking from ride to ride we saw Goofy, Pluto, Mickey, Chip and Dale, Buzz Lightyear and Woody. We stopped and took pictures with them. • We then ate lunch at the Chopping Block around 12:30 pm.
Day 4 Continued • After lunch we went on some more rides: • Gadget’s Go Coaster • Haunted Mansion • “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” • Jungle Cruise • Pirates of the Caribbean • Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride • Star Tours
Day 4 Continued • At 5 pm we had dinner at Squat & Gobble. • After dinner we decided to go back and ride our favorite rides. • Mark wanted the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Pirates of the Caribbean • Jack wanted Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain • Dan wanted Indiana Jones • I wanted the Haunted Mansion
Day 4 Continued • By 7:30 pm we were ready to leave and decided to buy some souvenirs. • Classic Plush Pluto • Classic Plush Goofy • Picture Frame • Dash T – Shirt • Incredible Sweatshirt • Dash Figure • Bob Figure • Frozone Figure • Sundrome Figure • Buzz 3 – in – 1 Blaster
Day 4 Continued • After we purchased our souvenirs we headed back to the hotel to relax. • The boys played with their new toys. • We were in bed by 10 pm. • What a day!
Timeline Day 5 • 8 am – Wake up • 8:30 am – Taxi to Meal Time • 9 am – Breakfast at Meal Time • 10 am – Take taxi to San Diego Zoo • 10:30 am – San Diego Zoo • 12:30 pm – Lunch at Slop – N – Flop • 3:30 pm – Buy souvenirs • 4 pm – Take taxi back to airport • 5 pm – Dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Kabobs • 6:30 pm – Board Airplane • 7:45 pm – Arrive at San Jose Airport • 8:30 pm – Take taxi back home • 9 pm – Home Sweet Home
Day 5 • Today we went to the San Diego Zoo • We ate breakfast at Meal Time. • In the morning we saw flamingos, apes, gorillas, chimps, birds, and polar bears.
Day 5 Continued • We had lunch at Slop – N – Flop • In the afternoon we saw giraffes, glazelles, pigs, meerkats, kangaroos, camels, and elephants. .
Day 5 continued • Before we left the zoo we bought some souvenirs for the boys. • Elephant Stuffed Animal • Polar Bear Stuffed Animal • Postcards • T – Shirts • We headed for the airport and had dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Kabobs. It was very yummy. • Then we boarded the plane and headed home.
Day 5 Continued • We arrived back in San Jose at 7:45 pm. • We got all of the luggage and got in the taxi at 8:30 and headed for home. • We got home at 9 pm.
