  2. Day 1Off to Southern California

  3. Day 1 - Morning • Today we traveled to San Diego • We flew on American Eagle Flight 3143 • We took a taxi to the airport – scariest ride of our lives. • We ate breakfast at Squat & Gobble located in the airport.

  4. Day 1 Afternoon • While we are in San Diego we stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel San Diego – La Jolla • On our way to the hotel we stopped and ate at Grubbin • Unpacked at the hotel and then set out for a night on the town.

  5. Day 1 Evening • After checking in to the hotel we went and walked around the Gaslamp Quarter • We ate dinner at Tomato Brothers • After dinner we went back to the hotel to sleep

  7. Day 2Off to Sea World

  8. Day 2 - Morning • Our first day in San Diego, we decided to go to SeaWorld • We had breakfast at The Chopping Block then headed over to SeaWorld • Frank was our taxi driver this morning – what a character.

  9. Day 2 - Afternoon • We were so excited to get there. • We checked out the map and started off to check out Dolphin Discovery, Wild Artic, the sea lions and Deep DeepTrouble. • We had lunch at Billy Bob’s RoadkillCafé located in the park.

  10. Day 2 Evening • After lunch we went and checked out Cirque de la Mer, rode the Shipwreck Rapids, and the Shamu Adventure • We ate dinner at Meal Time and Shamu swam up to say “Hi” – it was awesome • We bought the kids some souvenirs when we left

  12. Day 3Legoland

  13. Day 3 - Morning • Today we went to LEGOLAND in Carlsbad. • We woke up at 8 am, got dressed and went for breakfast at Grubbin’. • After breakfast we took a taxi to Legoland in Carlsbad. The boys did not know we were going and were so excited when we got there.

  14. Day 3 Afternoon • We went and did many things while at LEGOLAND. Here is a list of a few of them: • Safari Trek • The Dragon • Fun Town Fire Academy • Skipper School • Coastersaurus • Miniland New York City • Miniland Washington D.C. • Miniland San Francisco • AQUAZONE Wave Racers • LEGO Mindstorms

  15. Day 3 Evening • When we were leaving LEGOLAND we bought the boys each a toy. Jack wanted the Millennium Falcon and Mark wanted the Castle of Morcia. • We took a taxi to dinner at Billy Bob’s Roadkill Café • After dinner we went back to the hotel for lights out.

  17. Day 4Disneyland

  18. Day 4 - Morning • We woke up early because we were excited to be going to Disneyland. • We quickly ate breakfast at Slop – N – Flop and were ready to leave by 9 am. • We took a taxi over to Disneyland and bought tickets.

  19. Day 4 Morning • We rode a bunch of rides in the morning. Here is a list of them: • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad • Indiana Jones Adventure • Matterhorn Bobsleds • Alice in Wonderland • Splash Mountain

  20. Day 4 Afternoon • As we were walking from ride to ride we saw Goofy, Pluto, Mickey, Chip and Dale, Buzz Lightyear and Woody. We stopped and took pictures with them. • We then ate lunch at the Chopping Block around 12:30 pm.

  21. Day 4 Evening • After lunch we went on some more rides: • Gadget’s Go Coaster • Haunted Mansion • “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” • Jungle Cruise • Pirates of the Caribbean • Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride • Star Tours

Day 4 Evening • At 5 pm we had dinner at Squat & Gobble. • After dinner we decided to go back and ride our favorite rides. • Mark wanted the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Pirates of the Caribbean • Jack wanted Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain • Dan wanted Indiana Jones • I wanted the Haunted Mansion

  23. Day 4 Evening • By 7:30 pm we were ready to leave and decided to buy some souvenirs. • Classic Plush Pluto • Classic Plush Goofy • Picture Frame • Dash T – Shirt • Incredible Sweatshirt • Dash Figure • Bob Figure • Frozone Figure • Sundrome Figure • Buzz 3 – in – 1 Blaster

  24. Day 4 Evening • After we purchased our souvenirs we headed back to the hotel to relax. • The boys played with their new toys. • We were in bed by 10 pm. • What a day!

  26. Day 5San Diego Zoo / Going Home

  27. Day 5 - Morning • Today we went to the San Diego Zoo • We ate breakfast at Meal Time. • In the morning we saw flamingos, apes, gorillas, chimps, birds, and polar bears.

  28. Day 5 Afternoon • We had lunch at Slop – N – Flop • In the afternoon we saw giraffes, glazelles, pigs, meerkats, kangaroos, camels, and elephants. .

  29. Day 5 Evening • Before we left the zoo we bought some souvenirs for the boys. • Elephant Stuffed Animal • Polar Bear Stuffed Animal • Postcards • T – Shirts • We headed for the airport and had dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Kabobs. It was very yummy. • Then we boarded the plane and headed home.

  30. Day 5 Evening • We arrived back in San Jose at 7:45 pm. • We got all of the luggage and got in the taxi at 8:30 and headed for home. • We got home at 9 pm.
