  3. I. Physical properties (e.g.- mass, volume, density, color, odor, shape, texture, etc.) A. It describes properties that can be discovered without changing the substance State- easily observed form of a substance Melting point, boiling point, hardness, conduct electricity, magnetism, conduct heat
