  2. If you were to die tonight and God asked, “Why should I let you into heaven?” What would you say?

  3. What does God require of us? + Holiness - Sin = Life

  4. What does God require of us? “Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.” Leviticus 19:2 “Do this (love God and your neighbors perfectly) and you will live.” Luke 10:28

  5. What does God see? - Holiness + Sin = Death

  6. What does God see? “Every one has sinned. We all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23 “Your wrongs are the roadblock between you and your God.” Isaiah 59:2 “The payment for sin is death.” Romans 6:23

  7. Man-made remedies for our problem: “I’ll do more good deeds than bad ones!” “I’ll compare myself to others.” “I’ll try harder!”

  8. Man-made remedies for our problem: • “Some people think they are doing right , but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 16:25 • “If someone obeys all God’s laws except one, that person is guilty of breaking all of them.” James 2:10
