STUDYING AND UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE

Learn how to study and understand the Bible accurately, giving the Word of God a fair hearing. Study all that the Bible says on any given subject, without justifying ourselves. Accept the Scriptures at face value and let the Bible mean what it says. Avoid prejudice and let the Bible interpret itself as much as possible. Understand difficult passages in light of clear ones and refrain from relying on human wisdom. Recognize the value of truth and do not presume that God will accept anything else.
