What Is Required? • 51 Shelter Beds • Residential and non-residential services • Can be in more than one location • Trauma-informed and empower the survivor • Must meet the individualized needs of the survivor • Immediate crisis assistance regardless of where the survivor is physically located • No Wrong Door type of policy • Individual and Systems Advocacy

  12. Services To Be Funded • 24-Hour Crisis & Resource Hotline • 24-Hour Shelter • Mental Health Counseling • Case Management • Domestic Violence Liaison (DVL) • Safety Planning • Advocacy • Transportation • Community Education, Training & Awareness • Coordinated Community Response

Let’s Talk Money… • $1,000,000 on July 1, 2016 • Combination of state and FVPSA funding • FVPSA funds may not used for brick and mortar projects • 20% match per funding period required • 33,600 • cash and/or in-kind funds may be used • Lobbying Activities and/or any Political Activity is prohibited
