Energy Efficiency Measures - Lighting - • Replacement of 100% Linear Fluorescent Lamps with Energy Efficient Electronic Ballast • Installation of T5 Linear Fluorescent Lamps with electronic ballast & mirror reflectors instead of T8 Lamps • Replacement of CFLs & LEDs for suitable locations • Replacement of Energy Efficient Electronic Ballast instead of Electro magnetic Ballast – Cost Benefit • Total No of Lamps – 2102 Nos. • Total Investment – USD: 22,600 • Energy Saving – 13,150 kWh / Month • Financial Savings – USD: 1,036 / Month • Pay-back Period – 22 Months

Energy Efficiency Measures - AC & Ventilation - Our significant Energy Load Represents nearly 48% Energy Consumption 40% (out of total) for Clean Room System Several measures taken for total AC Energy Consumption reduction, • Installation of EE Inverter Control ACs • Installation of VSD for Cooling Tower Fan Motors • Clean Room Waste Energy Recovery • Cooling Tower Water Treatment • Conditioned Space Reduction by modifying Production Lines • Conditioned space reduction in office area • Reduction of AC consumption during Peak Hrs by Installing Day Timers • Fixed mirror reflective type films & sun-shades for doors & windows to reduce the solar heat gain etc.

  9. Few of Our Major Success Story Replacement of Energy Efficient Inverter Control AC System • Total number of EE Inverter Control AC (24000 BTU/h) - 16 Nos. (Installed from Apr ’13 to Mar ’14) • Total Investment – USD: 23,850 • Energy Saving – 6,577 kWh / Month • Financial Saving – USD: 655 / Month • Pay back Period – 36 Months • Other Actions: • Reduced the conditioned space by 20% • Reduced the height of the ceiling by 1.5 ft. • Fixed sun-shades & mirror reflective films to the doors & windows • All Desk top computers changed to Lap top 55% Saving 74% Saving
