  3. 1900/1904 1900 Dirigible Airship – Graf Ferdinand von Zepplin 1904 Radar- Christian Hülsmeyer

  4. 1904 • Radio waves discoveredin 1888  German scientist Heinrich Hertz proved if they couldbe bounced of things • 30th April 1904- patent of his so-called „Telemobiloskop“ • So it was possible to locate the distance and direction of metallic objects with electromagnetic waves

  5. 1905/1912 1905 Special Theory of Relativity- Albert Einstein 1912 Theory of Continental Drift - Alfred Wegener

  6. 1912 • His predecessors were Roberto Mantovani and Frank Taylor • Wegener describes the theory very similarly  in former times in America known as „Taylor-Wegener-Theory“ • Published a book in 1915 about the origin of continents and ocean • Long time not accepted because of missing explenation for the movemant of continents

  9. 1922 • Vogt founded an own company called „Tri-Ergon“ with J. Engl and J. Massolle  they register over 150 patents • 17th September 1922 1st light-soundfilm was presented to the public in the filmtheatre in Berlin

  10. 1930/1936 1930 All-Electric TV- Set - Manfred von Ardenne 1936 Helicopter- Heinrich Focke

  11. 1930 • 1st worldwide all-electric television broadcast with cathode ray indicator at christmas 1930 • Berlin, 1931: radio show . demonstrated the 1st all-electric television

  12. 1942/1951 1942 V2 – Rocket – Wernher von Braun 1951 Scanner – Rudolf Hell

  13. 1958/1961 1958 Dowel – Artur Fischer 1961 Birth control pill - Schering AG
