1 Do you think an individual can have an impact on social problems? 2 Have you ever helped somebody in need?
Lenka, 15, a student • Yes. If you give some change to a homeless, he can get something to eat unless he buys some alcohol. 2. I have contributed to a charity.I`ve given some clothes to an orphanage.
Rado,18,astudent • Yes, I think so. Poverty starts where other people get rich. 2. Church collections
Marian,62, an executive manager • Definitely, an individual might cause those problems him/herself and at the same time he/she might help reduce them. 2. Our company helps regularly.
Ľubomíra, 31, an officer • Sure, everybody has some influence! 2. I try to help every time when it is possible or when somebody asks me for help and also by sending SMS for charities.
Maria, 87, a pensioner • Maybe not in Slovakia, but a man with leading skills who knows how to gain attention and move masses definitely has influence.
Stefan, 20, a student • It depends on how strong that individual is. If it is an ordinary person, I think it`s hard. 2. Yes,I`ve contributed to public collections.
