According to your text, research on leader-member exchange (LMX) theory has shown that LMX is correlated with subordinate energy and creativity at work, and that LMX, moderated by empowerment, would affect job satisfaction, turnover, job performance and organization citizenship behavior. Is there any evidence of LMX or the results of the above research in the two case studies? Conclude your paper by summarizing the dominant trait, power bases, and leadership styles of both coaches, and adopting a position on whom you think was a more effective leader and why.
Be sure to indicate what you have learned from the cases and how this knowledge would make you a better leader.
