  7. Attention NJHS Members: • The next NJHS member meeting will be Friday, October 24th during period 1. Listen to the announcements in order to find out the location of the meeting. Bring a pencil and your agenda book with you to this meeting.

  8. Attention NJHS Members: • Your can foods are due November 3rd!  Don’t forget to fill that grocery store bag to help your community! • Your 5 hours of community service are due October 31st! 

  9. Help protect your planet and raise money for the American Red Cross by bringing in your trash!  Any electronics, cell phones, DVDs, or ink jet printer cartridges can be given to Mrs. Miller and she will take care of the rest

  13. Turn in your drawings, paintings and photographs to Mrs. Shivers in rm. 112. Write your 1st Pd. Teacher’s name on the back of your entry. All artwork will be returned to you after the contest!   15. Wanted: Yearbook Cover Design • Are you artistic? If you are, then we have a challenge for you. This year’s yearbook cover needs to be designed. It must include the items listed below and be designed using a western theme. Please create your cover and turn it into Mrs. Hitchens Rm. 132 for judging. The winning cover will be printed on this year’s yearbook cover. Good Luck! • All cover designs must be turned into Mrs. Hitchens by Friday, October 31st. • Cover must include: • Seaford Middle School • Picture of a Blue Jay • “Roping in Results” • 2008-2009 • Please turn in designs in pencil with no color.

  16. Don’t be the only student without a Smencil! Each Smencil costs $2.00 and all proceeds benefit the American Red Cross. See Mrs. Harrison in room 208, Ms. Jankowski in room 125, Mrs. Leonard in room 206, or Mrs. Miller in room 134. Have you smelled your pencil lately? If not, you must not have a Smencil!
