  2. PURPOSE: To recognize the contributions of those who have had a significant impact on the evolution, development and perpetuation of Rock and Roll. HOW: Eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record. They are nominated and voted into the hall of fame.

The main differences are in the lyrics of the songs and the “story” behind the song. Ultimately, many of the Jackson 5 songs are very similar.
