Job Overview • Prepare and cook complete meals, banquets or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables and meat, poultry and fish dishes, and create decorative food displays. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food, supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, plan menus and demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff. Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions

Work that will involve talking to people as a regular part of the job in a normal controlled environment such as an office, hospital or school.
