In our school staff and pupils dress up for Children in Need. We even sponsor some staff to wear costumes so we can raise even more money!
Pudsey Bear is the official mascot for Children in Need in the UK. People often wear Pudsey ears to show their support!
One of our teachers baked cakes to sell. This helped us make even more money!This is millionaires shortbread which is very popular with the staff at school.
People also wear clothes with spots to show their support. Pudsey Bear wears a scarf with red spots.
Sometimes Pudsey is shown with a bandage over one eye – his bandage always has spots on it too. Here is Pudsey with 2 of our TV stars:
We always have an assembly on ‘Children in Need’ day so our children can learn more about the charity.
