Cases per school • 221 cases in total across 31 medical schools • Average 7.13 cases • Median: 5 cases • Includes cases where FTP ‘non-impaired’ • Two schools presented zero cases • Seven schools presented 57% of cases (n=125)
Cases, outcomes and stage summary • 221 cases • 52% resolved informally • (support, informal undertaking, and warning+) • 26.2% received a sanction • 4% expulsion • 7.6% withdrawal • 12.2% FTP ‘non-impaired’ • Most FTP ‘non-impaired’ resolved at investigation stage • Since 2007, five schools had decisions overturned by Uni.
Type of concern summary • 88.6% of cases presented with conduct • 23.1% with health • 13.9% with conviction/caution • 9.2% with mental health concerns
