Why Are We Here Tonight? • More than ever, a globally connected world • Chance to get involved a local community that is globally minded • Parents looking for programs that develop children’s leadership potential in a global context • Children looking for a safe, trusting, supportive environment to create friendship & share leadership experiences with other children
What does CISV offer? • “CISV is an organization of globally minded families supporting transformational youth journeys to build friendship, identity, leadership & confidence” (or whatever we adopt) • Chance for families to become part of an active local community interested in creating youth leadership based on global peace • Opportunity for local youth to participate in local & international camps focused on peace, friendship & leadership in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment
A Family of Local Volunteers • 3-4 annual cross-generational events open house, dinner/dance, benefit night, silly chili • Family collaboration on different camps to help ready children for the experience • Volunteering local & international camps, board of directors, junior branch & much more • Fund raising • Family ‘networking’ – create lasting friendship with other local families with similar interests

Program Fees • Program Costs include: • CISV fees – hosting, national fee, international fee • Travel – airfare, travel agent fee, travel insurance • Leader – share of airfare, share of travel insurance, share of leader training • Volunteer Fee – fee in lieu of volunteer hours • Deposit/Final balance • Deposit due Feb 15, Mar 15, Apr 15 • Final balance due on invoice
