OrgSync Features You Should Know • Communication • Text Messaging – when meetings/events change, immediately send messages to members • Contact Books – store all your contacts for event planning, supply ordering, etc. • Discussion Boards • Messaging • Manage your Roster – add members, promote members to officers, invite people to join • Polls

Events Management • Events - track events, create events, invites, RSVPs, event info • Calendar – overview of your events and campus wide events • Time Sheet - track members’ involvement and service time • To Do List - extremely helpful for event planning and committees
OrgSync Features You Should Know 3. Info Storage • Files – online storage of your documents (meeting minutes, publicity files, etc) • Pages – public pages online • Photos – store photos from your events • Videos – store videos from your events 4. Reports • Forms – online applications

“People” Feature • In the “People” feature you are able to see all your members in the organization. • If you select one of your members, you are able to adjust their officer setting (if you are an administrator within the organization account). • You can also invite people to join the organization. 1 2 3
“Calendar” Feature • In the “Calendar” feature you are able to see all your org’s events and campus wide events. • If you select one of the events, you can view more event details, record an RSVP, send an invite to someone else, and add the even to your iCal/Outlook/Google calendar. 3 1 2
“Events” Feature 3 • In the “Events” Feature you can view all the details of upcoming and past events. • You are able to see upcoming events, past events, and even track attendance at your past events/meetings. This is a great way to keep track electronically of your members’ attendance/participation at events and meetings. • You can create an event from this menu, which is then automatically added to your organization’s calendar feature. Say goodbye to having to send your members constant reminders about the events – have them look up the information on their own! 2 1
“Files” Feature 2 • In the “Files” feature you can store all your org’s documents for use in the future, especially for future transition notes for incoming officers. • You can create a folder and add files. • Your files appear in the menu (use the thumbtack to ensure specific folders appear at the top – this helps when you have a lot of files/folders to sort through. • SDCA will create some “umbrella” files/folders with important campus wide information 3 1 4
“Forms” Feature 2 • In the “Forms” feature, you can see all the forms available for filling out. Forms are used for trip registrations, programming model submissions, service request forms, applications/elections, and much more! • You can view your past submissions to all forms or create your own. • You can select a form to complete it, check the status (open/closed), and select actions (which will depend on whether or not you created the form). You’ll note any umbrellas will mean that SDCA has posted that community-wide form. 3 1
“Treasury” Feature 3 2 • In the “Treasury” feature you are able to submit budget requests and view your checkbook. • The Budgets option will list all your budget requests from each academic year. • You can submit a new budget request for review by the Budget Allocation Committee in Student Government. • When you select your checkbook option, you can view your organization’s agency account balance. This balance is adjusted by SDCA and our finance intern based on your purchases and deposits. 4 1
“Website” Feature • In the “Website” Feature, you are able to create a website viewable by the public – you can choose which features and information are included on your website. More training is available by appointment. 1
“Settings” Feature 3 2 • In the “Settings” feature, you can adjust multiple basic settings for your org account (depending on your permission level). • You need to edit your org profile each year, so this should be updated. • You can adjust join options (how to invite members), add a welcome message, and create a custom footer for your org’s account. 2 3 1
