  1. Completing the 2nd Friday in January Pupil Count Report in OASJanuary 2013 Private School Choice Programs MPCP & PPSCP

  2. 2nd Friday in January Count Report • Count date is January 11, 2013. • Count report must be submitted electronically to the DPI by February 1, 2013. • Schools can count students who are present on the count date OR present both any day before and any day after the count date if the student has not attended another school in the interim. • Only choice students who have eligible applications on file that have been electronically submitted to the DPI are eligible to be counted.

  3. Changes in OAS • Recent updates to the Pupil Count Report • Schools can change/correct the pupil grade level on the count report for applications that have been submitted to the DPI. • The grade change function in the count report will automatically update the grade in the student application in OAS. • Schools will no longer need to contact the DPI to change student grades prior to completing the count report. • Schools will still need to contact the DPI to make changes to previously submitted reports. • Only the Choice Administrator will be able to submit the count report.

  5. Remember… • Be sure to keep accurate attendance records. • Start early. • Update paper application when necessary. • Be sure to save by pressing “next”. • Contact the DPI with questions BEFORE submitting the report. • Report is due by February 1, 2013.
