Success and Failure of Small to Medium Enterprises Mr.Sassine
Take a stance • Red agree with the solution • Green disagree • Hold nothing up, undecided
Scenario one • Entrepreneurial abilities are not important in business success and failure. Having a strong drive and being highly motivated has nothing to do with business success and failure. Business success is linked with the level of economic activity. Jack, Isabelle, Jade
Scenario two • Access to information is important to any SME as it gives the SME operator the information needed to make up to date decisions. For example, if the operator did not have up to date information about employees rights, regarding pay they could be either underpaying their workers or overpaying their workers. Addyson, Victoria and Lloyd
Scenario three • Flexibilityis an important skill, for business owners to establish, as fewer levels of management means business owners must make quicker decisions. They must also be able to demonstrate a flexibility to respond to the wants and needs of customers quickly to ensure their business remains profitable. Michelle, Laura and Stuart
Scenario five • Focusing on the market niche is not important for a small medium enterprise. The will not be the difference in success or failure of a particular business. Their is no need to became more specialised and deliver a higher level of service. Taylor, Laura and Stuart
