Global CitizenshipEducational Fund Objectives: To promote Global Citizenship by encouraging students to think and learn about pressing global issues through service projects Eligibility: Full-time HKU students Scope: Local and overseas voluntary services, service learning projects, public education programmes, research or different forms of learning activities. Max. amount of grant: HK$50,000
Gallant Ho Service Learning Fund– Family Values Objectives: To promote the importance of family values embedded in traditional Chinese culture – encourage students to design and participate in innovative service projects Eligibility: Full-time HKU students and staff Scope: Service learning projects, publications, public education programmes, research or different forms of learning activities. Max. amount of grant: HK$50,000 (up to HK$100k with strong justifications)

HKU ’82 Alumni Green Fund Aims - educating primary and secondary school students about global warming through programmes organised by students of the University; - training leaders of tomorrow with commitment to sustainable development; - supporting the University and its students in establishing their leading position in advocating sustainable development.
HKU ’82 Alumni Green Fund Eligibility: full-time students and staff of the University of Hong Kong (on an individual or a group basis) Maximum amount of award: HK$50,000

Max. amount of grant: HK$50,000

Henry Chan Inclusive Education Fund Project Grant Objective: To promote inclusive education of students with a disability or special learning needs. Eligibility: Full-time HKU students and staff Scope: Seminars, events, publications, public education programmes, research or any combination of these activities. Max. amount of grant: HK$50,000

Henry Chan Inclusive Education Award Eligibility: Full-time HKU students: With a disability or special learning needs; Have a CGPA of 3.0 or above, or record of active participation in extra-curricular activities. Amount of award: $5,000 Henry Chan Inclusive Education Grant Eligibility: Full-time HKU students with a disability or special learning needs, or from ethnic minority backgrounds. Max. amount of grant: $10,000
HKU Class of ‘84 Social Inclusion Fund Social Inclusion Activities Grant Objective: To encourage the promotion of social inclusion and harmony amongst members of the public in Hong Kong, who are divided on the basis of ethnic origin, race, cultural origin, gender or religion. Eligibility: Full-time HKU students and staff Scope: Education projects, service projects, events, publications, seminars or any combination of two or more of these activities Max. amount of grant: HK$30,000

Inclusion Leadership Award for Exchange Programme Eligibility: Local full-time undergraduate students with an outstanding contribution to social inclusion activities in Hong Kong in the past 5 years. Award:HK$15,000 for exchange programme in the Mainland HK$30,000 for places other than the Mainland
Application for Project Grants Completed application form Personal particulars or background of student groups or societies A project proposal An executive summary; Objectives of the project; Project activities and timeline; Expected outcomes, achievements, impact and contributions of the project; Expected number of participants; Method of project evaluation and evaluation by activity participants. 4. Henry Chan Inclusive Education Award and Grant • The completed application form • A copy of the most recent medical report which indicates the current level of disability • 3a.Proof of academic achievement and/or records of extra-curricular activities. • OR • 3b.Two quotations: learning aids, equipments and services to be procured; • OR • 3c. Information of the learning activity.
