Authority • PACE is a multi-layer program • Relies on participation by: • regulatory boards • ACC colleges • licensing board administrators • However, the FCLB Board of Directors (elected by regulatory boards) is ultimately responsible for determining PACE approval

PACE Fees This is an FCLB service! No cost to member boards
PACE Fees Cost to approved providers: • Not-for-profit annual recognition fee: $0 • For-profit annual recognition fee: $2,000 + one time application fee of $500 • Attendee records fee: $1 per credit hour, per attendee—maximum $10 per attendee • Reconsideration fee: $500 • Appeal: $1,500 initial deposit (fee determined by costs)

PACE Structure FCLB Board of Directors • Responsible for overall program • Grants final approval to Recognized Providers • Oversees appeals process • Ratifies decisions about policies and criteria from the PACE Committee

PACE Structure PACE Review Team • Education experts nominated by ACC college presidents • 3 randomly selected Review Team members assess CE provider applications, determine ability to comply with PACE Policies & Procedures and Criteria • Recommend approvals to PACE Committee • Review course content for compliance
