  3. Research and Cost • Online video • Youtube, Howstuffworks.com • What materials to use • Fan, wire, lubricant, wood, rod, pvc tubing, magnets, glue, tape • Where to get them • Home Depot, M&J Magnets, Walgreens, online vendor • Total Cost • $34.50

  4. First Design • Design • Problem • Did not catch enough air and were too far apart which didn’t allow the magnets to spin fast enough to light the bulb.

  5. Second Design • Change in materials • New, stronger magnets • Change in design • New windmill • More coils around the generator
