  2. Why Young MKB-Haarlem? • Just 3% of graduates actually start-up their own business • Interest; lack of know-how • Cooperation strengthens individual position

  3. What will it be NOT? What IS it going to be? • Organization solely for InHolland Students • A network club only • Organization for young starting entrepreneurs out of • the region • Teaching, workshops, networking, financial assistance, • etc. etc.

  4. What is in for me? • 4 x p.a. networking events • 4 x p.a. workshops • 2 x p.a. company visits • Business plan competition with micro credits and • Beverwijk bazaar facility as prices • Free session at a Dutch notary: legal advice • Free subscription of a local business magazine • Etc

  5. Cooperation Aim • To foster business relationship between Asian students/companies and Dutch students/companies 2. To set up a solid working internship office for both Dutch and Chinese students

  6. Planning • Combine strengths in organizing workshops and networking meetings during first year • Launch internship office at the start of 2007 • Organize a business plan competition at the start of academic year 2006-2007
