Notes on Adjectives Some adjectives end in –ing, -ly, or –ed. interestingforgiving friendly –ed adjectives: married finished divorced located excited crowded frustrated worried disabled tired When you see a word that ends in –ed, sometimes it is an adjective and sometimes it is a past tense verb.
