What is done already • Roma health mediators in Bulgaria • Community based services • Mainstreaming • Empowerment of women organisation by Roma for Roma • Generic campaigns, peer education, using Roma staff • Special national programme on Roma health in Albania • Portugal: National plan for inclusion • Decade of Roma Inclusion • EUMC - European Observatory for Racism and Xenophobia

RecommendationsService Providers • Using increased outreach to the places where Roma live and work • Provision of mobile services and out-of-school interventions • Financial motivation of service providers • Partnership instead of assimilation • More data on HIV should be collected in consultation with Roma community
