This is Cafeteria A • Cafeteria A is the cafeteria Helem goes to eat! • Cafeteria A is our biggest cafeteria! More kids eat there than cafeteria B. Cafeteria A is the cafeteria Helem goes to eat! Cafeteria A also has a stage! • A Stage is a place that people perform like our last storytelling competition! Go Home

This is Cafeteria B • Cafeteria B is our smallest cafeteria. This cafeteria has two televisions! They’re five long tables in this cafeteria! Cafeteria B is the cafeteria that Lucero goes to eat! Go Home

You entered the Office • The office is not always a place where kids go when they are in trouble! • The office can be a message center! • The office has teachers going in and out of the room! • That is where the principals’ office is located!! Go Home

Time to have fun in Math Lab • The math lab is a small room where kids learn new things and get some help in math ! The math lab is a cool and fun place that a lot of kids like to go! If you go there and you get a question right, you win a prize! How cool is that! Go Home

It’s time to read in the reading lab! The reading lab is where teachers help us to read! Usually only kids who need a primer need to go with Ms.Fike to the reading lab! In the reading lab, you do reading tests to see how well you are doing in reading! Go Home

Be careful, there are chemicals in the science lab! Ms. Copeland owns this area! She helps everyone to know more about science. She even lets us come in to her lab to see Bill Nye the science guy during lunch time! When we go to her classroom to learn about science, we read parts of a science book individually. Go Home

Let’s play in the gym! Everyone comes here! We do all sorts of things like exercise, games and Marathon Kids! Going to the gym is my favorite thing to do, except for the sweaty smell! If you get a mile in Marathon Kids, you get a small foot. Any color you want! Go Home

Let’s dance in the music room! In the music room there are a lot of things going on! We sing, make and write music! I like music classes because, you just don’t know what will happen next! We even get to play the instruments. We all enjoy learning with Ms. Wells. Go Home

It’s time to paint in the art room! • In the art room we get to draw, paint, color and make things! We have named tables, so when she calls us to line up she calls the quietest table. Sometimes we get to take stuff home! We all enjoy Ms. Wilke! Go Home

Get ready to dance and paint in the art/music room! • Our teacher in the art/music room is Ms. Stevenson! Some kids have her for music and some kids have her for art. Sometimes, she lets us use instruments.Helem has her for music, and Lucero has her for art. Go Home

Time to learn in wellness! • In wellness we learn about how to be safe, and how to be healthy. Before our lesson we always review. All of us enjoy Ms. Bailey. Go Home

Let’s read in the library! • In the library we read books quietly. If we need to, we can check out books to read in the class or at home. If the book you want is not there, you can put it on hold, so they can get the book from another school. Go Home

It’s time to decorate the kindergarten hall! • The kindergarten hall is three rooms only. • The rest of the kindergarteners share a part of third grade hall. • Kindergarteners go to older grades for reading or science buddies. • Their art is so creative and kindergarten always tries their best in art!! • There are three teachers in the kindergarten hall. 1st Grade Hall • 1st grade hall is where the 1st graders are. • They have art work in the halls, too. • Ms. Hartley’s class sometimes comes to Ms. Dupree’s room to do experiments in science. • There are seven teachers in the 1st grade hall. Go Home

3rd Grade Hall • The 3rd grade hall is where the 3rd graders are. • They do a science kit that you need to measure heavy things. • There are six teachers in the third grade hall. Go Home

2nd Grade Hall • 2nd grade hall is where the 2nd graders are. With Ms. Haynie you do patterns, cook, and sew. • They get to go to Truck Day! • There are six teachers in the 2nd grade hall. • How exciting! Go Home

4th Grade Hall • Fourth grade hall has kids going crazy because they’re so excited to be there! • There are seven teachers in the fourth grade hall. Go Home

5th Grade Hall • Fifth Grade hall is mostly quiet, unless it is time for a field trip or specials. • Some fifth graders work on safety patrol and broadcasting. • 5th grade hall is where the 5th graders are. • They work on Science, Math, Reading, and Social Studies. • Almost every week, they have a project to work on. • There are six teachers in the fifth grade hall. • How fun is that!! Woof News Room • The woof news room is where Lucero & Helem do broadcasting. • Every week we have a science and vocabulary word. • We do this to inform students and teachers. Go Home

Safety Patrol Room • The safety patrol room is where safety patrol gets dressed to go and stop those cars. Go Home

Playground • The playground is where kids have their recess. • Fifth graders have 2 days of recess. Go Home

Field • The field is where kids play sports. The field is also where we run for Marathon Kids. • The field is so big that it almost takes up half of our school. Go Home

Parking Lots • The parking lots are where teachers go to park their cars. The parking lot by Macarthur is where safety patrol walks to get to their destination. There are three parking lots in our school, so teachers can go to class quicker. Parents can park there when they come to visit. Go Home

Counselors’ Office The counselor’s office is where we get advice to solve a problem. Sometimes we go there to watch movies. We like our teachers: • Ms. Akins {3th to 5th grade} • Ms. Canavan {Kinder to 2nd grade}. Go Home

Restrooms • Every hall has a bathroom except for kindergarten. Kinder has to go to the restroom in third grade hall. The bathroom has water fountains to drink water. Go Home

Nurse’s Clinic • The nurse’s clinic is where you go when something hurts you. • Ms. Richey takes care of you when you are sick. • There are two beds in the clinic if you need to go to sleep for a while. Go Home

Recycle Bins The recycle bins are where we dump the papers and cans that can be recycled. We have recycling groups that get the stuff that needs to be recycled and dumps them into the bins. Go Home
