  3. Today we will have Stations of the Cross for the entire school.  All religion classes are to report to the Chapel.  

  4. Got Talent? Remember that the tryouts for our Spirit week talentshow will be on Tuesday, March 26 after school on the aux gym stage. Earn spirit points for your class!

  5. There will be an Irish Dance Club Meeting Friday, March 22nd directly after school in the Aux Gym. ALL MEMBERS INTERESTED IN DOING THE TALENT SHOW MUST ATTEND.

  6. One Acts Acting Friday after school Don’t Miss it! Ms. B needs to cast!!!! 2:45 – 5:00 See you there!

  7. Congratulations, Alex Delazio • Alex has been selected to receive an from the American Legion for her outstanding achievement. • She will be honored at the 16th annual Youth Achievement Dinner in April.

  8. MAPS will have a short update meeting directly after school on Monday, March 25th in the study area. • This meeting will take approximately 15 minutes.

  9. The second annual 'Race Against Cancer' is going to be held Saturday, May 4th. • Anyone interested may pick up a brochure in the office.

  10. Prom contracts and Cedar Point permission slips will be available in the main office and room 211 beginning Monday, March 25. • Tickets will be on sale from April 8 to 19 in room 211.

  11. The Anatomy Club meeting scheduled for Monday has been cancelled.

  12. Good luck to Emma Doerfler and Mary Galiardi, who will represent the Oakland Catholic Forensics team this weekend at the PHSSL State tournament in Susquehanna.

  13. MAPS is sponsoring a gently used blanket and children's book drive. • There will be a donation box located outside of the Guidance Office. • The drive will run for the next few weeks  and all donations will benefit  "Angel's Place" which provides child care for Pittsburgh's impoverished families.

  14. Congratulations, Nicole Johnson Nicole was selected to be on the western PA AAAA girls all star team.

  15. Senior sleep over • Attention all seniors remember • that you money for the senior • sleep over is due by March 27th. • The cost is $10 which includes • food and drinks for the night.

  16. Senior Fundraiser • We need 45 senior volunteers for the senior • fundraiser “Let’s Go on a Cruise” April 27th. Sign • sheets will be posted on Mr. Kornosky’s door • room 202. The deadline to sign up is March 27th. • Please volunteer and help your class raise • money for our senior gift.

  17. Café Reminder When buying lunch you must have cash or add money to you ID card.

  18. March is Colorectal and Kidney Awareness Month • Colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in the United States • Kidney cancer, on the other hand, is one of the least commonly diagnosed cancers in the United States
