II Timothy 2:8-13 8 Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to mygospel, 9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

  4. 11 This is a faithful saying: ​​For if we died with Him, ​​We shall also live with Him. 12 ​​If we endure, ​​We shall also reign with Him. ​​Ifwe deny Him, ​​He also will deny us. 13 ​​Ifwe are faithless, ​​He remains faithful; ​​He cannot deny Himself.

  9. Trustworthy PROMISES • If …then • Died …. Will live (v11) • Endure …will reign (v12) • Deny him … will deny us (v12) • Are faithless … he is faithful.(v13)

  10. Theme for 2014(Be, then)GO & MAKE DISCIPLES Have you made this YOUR gospel? • How much trouble are you willing to suffer? He suffered for us; we will live with Him forever • What will you endure for the elect (your disciples) We will reign with him • Have you decided to remain faithful and not deny him? Is it your aim to please Him? He is faithful and will sustain you.

  11. Question of the year: Will you preach MY gospel as you… Go and Make Disciples whatever the cost…?
