Confidential • Procedures guaranteeing confidentiality and anonymity of a request for consultation are the included in the responsibilities of the EAP coordinator. • Please note that all matters regarding EAP as well as all relating documents are handled confidentially. No information on the content of the consultations is ever released to anyone, except in cases where the employee involved has given a written authorization.

Statistical reports on EAP utilization • Each organization identifies the statistical information that is important and the EAP gathers the data when employee calls to use the program • The statistical report cannot breech confidentiality in allowing the “stats” to identify an employee by deduction (example : each category needs a minimum of 50 employees)
