Arts Board advisory committees • Advisors are nominated, self-nominated, or recruited • Advisors must be knowledgeable about arts • Generally seven to ten advisors per committee • Committees follow Open Meeting Law guidelines • Advisors must declare any real or perceived conflicts of interest • No compensation except expense reimbursement • In some programs, advisors make site visits -- 17 --
