  2. RDN 4 FE X4L project Aims • Updated FE cataloguing guidelines. • Record enhancement tool usable by 3rd parties. • 8000 RDN records tagged to FE data. • 24 Curriculum pathways. Therefore: Increase FE relevance of existing RDN records

Cataloging guidelines developed Record Enhancement tool developed Colleges add records into RDN Extra data added Total 8000 Records deposited 50 records each tagged across 7 hubs 40 FE taggers recruited Case study authors recruited 24 learning pathways written FE now has access to 8000 FE specific internet resources and records, a tool for further tagging and 24 learning pathways RDN 4 FE X4L project Process

  4. RDN 4 FE X4L project Record enhancement tool • Will allow users to import existing web-links and records from RDN and FE institutions. • Web based. • Allow users to add FE specific information. • Could be extended to further 3rd party use.

  5. RDN 4 FE X4L project Issues • What level? • Duplicate records, duplicate systems? • FE broader range? • Composition of FE notes field? • Ownership? • Maintenance?
