  1. What Have Your Learned? • Purpose: To demonstrate the skills and knowledge you have acquired this year. You will be tested on the following skills: Analysis, Evaluation, Critical Thinking, Discussion, Interpretation and Recall • Process: For this final you will be given a topic from around the world and you will be answering several questions having to do with the following categories: History, Geography, Civics, and Sociology

What Does the Final Look Like? • It is a traditional Pen and Paper exam • Section I: Recall-1pt each • 6 multiple choice questions • 1 map of the Palestine Region • Section II: Analysis-4pts each • 4 short answer questions • Section III: Critical Thinking-4pts each • 4 short answer questions • Section IV: Evaluation-8pts each • 4 short paragraph questions • Section V: Discussion-1 pt each • 3 short answer questions • Section V: Interpretation-19pts • Short Essay • Total Points-100

The Final Preparation • Topic: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict • Read the overview packet (to see the packet in color go to http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/news/nation-world/mideast/), the speech by Benjamin Netanyahu, the article by Dr. EyadSarraj, the article by Peter Beinhart and the article by Jeffery Goldberg • It is also suggested that you explore the following website (especially Chapters II-IV) • http://www.cfr.org/israel/crisis-guide-israeli-palestinian-conflict/p13850 • You are allowed one page of notes • Can be double sided • They can be single spaced • Must be 12 pt. Font • Must Be Times New Roman • Must have 1” Margins • You are also allowed the Netanyahu, Dr. EyadSarraj, Jeffery Goldberg and Peter Beinhart readings
